A bit of background

2005 - The year of birth for Indigo Events & Marketing.

Jumping in the deep end in 2005, I finished a work contract in April, completed an MBA in May, started my business in June and had a baby in December. Isn’t there a saying ‘give a busy person a job and it’ll get done’? That statement fits me and any of the incredibly adaptable, flexible, engaging, genuinely lovely folk I work with. We’re busy, we value honesty, real connections and laughter, and we make sure jobs get done on time, on budget and to a high standard.

My first trip through uni was for a business degree in hotel management because I wanted to be in an industry that focused on people.

Outside uni, with travelling underway, it didn’t take me long to gravitate to marketing, communication and events, where I felt right at home surrounded by energy, creativity and great, roll-your-sleeves-up type people.

Raised on a small farm in regional NSW, I worked and lived in many places before settling in Bathurst in 2001, and it’s that diverse experience that has given me the resilience and clarity to build my own business and help you grow yours.

Pre-Indigo I worked for Bathurst Regional Council, Charles Sturt Uni, SOCOG, Rockpool Catering, Unisys, Westech Systems, CADGroup and SPHC.

Through Indigo I have completed projects for:

  • Bathurst Regional Council

  • Orange City Council

  • Bowman Dental
